AbstractAbstract
[en] High temperature gas cooled reactors are being designed to release a proportion of their fission products to the gas coolant. The use of graphite as moderator in these reactors necessitates the control of gaseous impurities to minimise corrosion. Methods of removing both fission products and chemical impurities are reviewed. The purification plant currently being designed for the DRAGON reactor is used to illustrate this review. (author)
