AbstractAbstract
[en] The 206Pb(p, d)205Pb reaction has been studied at 35 MeV. The angular distributions for this reaction were measured relative to the angular distributions for the 208Pb(p, d)207Pb reaction to the single-neutron-hole states in 207Pb and relative spectroscopic factors are reported. The non-energy-weighted sum rule is used to determine the orbit occupancies of the 206Pb target. These orbit occupancies are combined with other experimental results to determine the ground state wave function of 206Pb. The Bansal-French energy-weighted sum rule is used to deduce some properties of the neutron-neutron effective interaction. Detailed comparison between experimental spectroscopic factors and predictions of recent nuclear model calculations is made
