[en] A criterion was developed for estimating the validity of the quasilocal approximation to the nonlocal-model-potential form factor. The weighting effect of the structure factor in momentum space is simulated by a cutoff procedure. For numerical calculation, the Animalu-Heine parameters for the Abarenkov-Heine model potential for a number of elements were considered. However, findings for the elements considered agree reasonably well with the behavior reported earlier, in various theoretical and experimental investigations. (U.S.)
