[en] Digitalis intoxication occurs commonly in clinical practice and this led to a search for better techniques for the measurement of serum or plasma cardiac glycoside concentrations. Radioimmunoassay has been a useful approach to this problem. Both technical aspects and clinical use of cardiac glycoside radioimmunoassay are discussed. (U.S.)
