AbstractAbstract
[en] Ultrapure germanium gamma-cameras incorporating delay line readouts can provide system event localization of the order of 2 mm for imaging intermediate energy photons and 4 mm at high energies, with adequate sensitivity. Radioisotopes emitting very high energy photons impose further shielding and collimation requirements which will limit spatial resolution to 6-8 mm. (U.S.)
