AbstractAbstract
[en] If the S matrix is split into direct and fluctuating parts, it is known that channel-channel correlations (CCC) exist if the direct term is not diagonal. A formalism based on Hauser-Feshbach theory is given that shows how to calculate CCC, and some new aspects are presented. Channel-channel correlations for isolated isobaric analogs are discussed with and without inclusion of absorption away from resonance. (U.S.)
