AbstractAbstract
[en] A modified diffusion equation is derived from the generalized Fokker-Planck equation. In the modified equation, damping effects and two-directional diffusion coefficients are included. It is concluded that the damping effect may not be neglected for dechanneling, especially for the study of ion mass effect. Dechanneling rate is shown for 1.5 MeV 1H+, 2D+ and 4He+ ions in the Ge (100) axis. (U.S.)
