AbstractAbstract
[en] By means of light scattering measurements, the problem of whether stationary arc discharges in a helium or deuterium atmosphere are in local thermodynamic equilibrium was clarified. The electron temperatures and densities were determined in the 900 scattering experiment from the form of the measured scattering profiles as well as from the total scattering intensity. The results of the light scattering measurements in the case of the helium discharges were compared with spectroscopic 'end-on' measurements. According to this, the discharges are not in equilibrium. In order to answer the question of whether an enlargement of the arc discharge plays a role in the gaps between the cascade plates, additional spectroscopic 'side-on' measurements were carried out. Mit Hilfe von Streulichtmessungen wurde die Frage geklaert, ob sich stationaere Bogenentladungen ineiner Helium- oder Deuteriumatmosphaere in lokalem thermodynamischen Gleichgewicht befinden. Die Elektronentemperaturen und -dichten wurden im 900 Streuexperiment aus der Form der gemessenen Streuprofile sowie aus der Gesamtstreuintensitaet bestimmt. Die Ergebnisse der Streulichtmessungen wurden im Falle der Heliumentladungen mit spektroskopischen 'end on' Messungen verglichen. Danach befinden sich die Entladungen nicht im thermodynamischen Gleichgewicht. Zur Klaerung der Frage, ob eine Ausweitung der Bogenentladung in die Zwischenraeume der Kaskadenplatten eine Rolle spielt, wurden zusaetzlich spektroskopische 'side on' Messungen durchgefuehrt.
