AbstractAbstract
[en] The 19/2- → 7/2- E6 transition in 53Fe is calculated in a model including all basis states of the configurations (f7/2)13/subI//subT/ and (f7/2)12/subI//sub prime//subT' times f5/2/subI//subT/. Several interactions, which yield the observed amount of f5/2 configuration mixing, have been considered. In all cases an effective charge delta approx. -0.4 is needed to fit experiment (where e/subp/ = 1 + delta, e/subn/ = delta)
