AbstractAbstract
[en] Interference in the elastic scattering of alpha-particles with energy 27.2 MeV on 27Al nuclei is discussed. Purely Rutherford scattering is predominant for scattering angles THETA(<=)17.5 deg. The main contribution into the scattering cross-section for THETA(>=)55 deg is due to noncoherent scattering. The shape of the angular distribution is determined by a complex overlapping of all the components of scattering. In the elastic scattering of alpha particles (and of charged particles in general) interference effects lead to appearance of singularities in angular distributions where some of components of cross-section vanish
