AbstractAbstract
[en] The (d,3n) reaction was used to populate states in 201Tl,203Tl. The de-excitation γ-rays was studied and evidence has been found for the existence in 201Tl of a rotational band built on the 9/2- [505] isomer at 920 keV. No corresponding band was observed in 203Tl. Bands based on 9/2- isomers are already known in the odd-mass isotopes 191-199Tl. A comparison of the level spacings indicates that the 201Tl isomer behaves more like a symmetric rotor than its lighter counterparts. A diagonalisation of a symmetric rotor-plus-particle Hamiltonian was performed and a fit to the band levels isobtained. (author)
