AbstractAbstract
[en] The composition and properties of complex sulphates of ruthenium, formed as a result of interaction of various initial compounds of ruthenium, such as RuO2xxH2O, K4[Ru2OCl10] and K2(RuCl5H2O], with sulphuric acid (1:4), with a temperature rise up to 250-320 deg C, as well as in the case of K4[Ru2O)Cl10] being alloyed with potassium hydrosulphate under the same temperature conditions, are considered herein. It is shown that brown sulphates of ruthenium of varying degrees of oxidation of the following composition: K4H6[Ru434O6x(SO4)6] are formed if the reaction is conducted through aqueous solutions and without an excessive amount of the alkali metal suplhate. In the hydrosulphate alloy, a green oxosulphate is formed of ruthenium (4) of the following composition: K8[Ru3O(SO4)9] possibly with a trinuclear structure similar to that of trinuclear iridium (3, 3, 4) oxosulphates
