AbstractAbstract
[en] The paper investigates one-dimensional motions induced in a plasma by laser radiation. An exact analytical solution is found for one of the motions, namely the heating wave. The analysis presented can also be used for estimating the limits of applicability of the solutions obtained. Another type of motion is a radiation shock wave. Both types of motion are investigated numerically. In this way it is possible to trace the transition from the heating wave (the earliest stage) to the shock wave
