AbstractAbstract
[en] Three variations of ordinary magnetic bremsstrahlung are considered: (i) Cerenkov-magnetobremsstrahlung - this is a synergic radiation process associated with a critical threshold at n(ω) - 1 = 1/2(mc2/E)2; (ii) quantum recoil corrections - these modify the bremsstrahlung spectrum in the range hω/2π > approximately mc2 when (E/mc2)2(H/Hsub(cr)) > approximately 1; (iii) magnetic inner bremsstrahlung including lepton pair creation and rho0 production. From (ii) a criterion for the onset of high energy coherent magnetic bremsstrahlung is also derived. The correspondence of magnetic inner bremsstrahlung to other radiation processes is explored in brief reviews of (iv) Coulomb inner bremsstrahlung; (v) lepton pair conversion including bound μ+-μ- creation; (vi) nuclear 0+-0+ transitions with internal pair formation; (vii) rho0 production in lepton pair annihilation; and (viii) rho0 production in Coulomb inner bremsstrahlung.
