AbstractAbstract
[en] Four kinds of fitting functions were examined in analysing gamma ray peaks obtained by a Ge(Li) detector, and their effects on peak position and peak area were studied. About 100 sample peaks were analysed by random search least-squares fitting. Almost the same order of magnitude in goodness of fitting was obtained and no systematic tendency was observed among four fitting functions indicating that the function with a smaller number of adjustable parameters is preferable.
