AbstractAbstract
[en] To reduce the range of standard samples (SS) for spectral analysis (which would allow the analysis of a group of similar type alloys to be carried out with one set of SS), comparison has been made, by the regression analysis method, of calibration plots for determining Fe, Pb, Zn and Mg in four copper-base alloys differing in the content of V, Mo, Cr and Cd. It is established that the analysis of alloys with the use of copper oxide SS by the globule arc method and quantometrically with the use of metallic copper SS leads to significant systematic errors in the determination of Fe, Pb and Mg. Analysis of all four alloys is possible by both methods with the use of standard samples corresponding to the average chemical composition of the alloys
