[en] To study anomalous energy deposition and thermal flux in a collisionless plasma, the steady state fluid equations for the first four moments, density, velocity, temperature and heat flux are examined. The fluid system is coupled to the system of equations for the unstable waves, and the entire system is solved numerically for the case where the anomalous absorption mechanism is the Compton sidescatter instability.
