[en] Observations from the UCSD OSO-7 experiment show Cen A had a hard E-1.2 number spectrum during 1972 July--August and 1973 March. Our data indicate a 230 percent increase in the 10--100 keV flux from 1.99 +- 0.41 x 10-2 counts cm-2 s-1 to 4.64 +- 1.13 x 10-2 counts cm-2 s-1 between these observations. The 1972 July--August data give a 10--100 keV flux of approx.4 x 1042 ergs s-1 if dapprox.5 Mpc. The data are equally consistent with various Compton-synchrotron models or with a T>200 keV thermal-bremsstrahlung model with cutoff energy less than 4 keV
