AbstractAbstract
[en] This paper reports the results of the variation with temperature of the Debye Waller factors for face centred cubic metals copper, silver, aluminium and nickel investigated by using the extended de Launay model given by Shulka and Cavalheiro. The model includes the interionic interactions out to fourth neighbours in the phenomenological model of de Launay. The results of calculations have been compared with the experimental data in terms of the temperature parameter of the Debye Waller factor, the effective characteristic temperature and the mean square displacement of the atoms. The predicted results have been found satisfactorily comparable to the experimental findings
