AbstractAbstract
[en] A rapid and easy method for the Cr(III)-Cr(VI) separation can be advantageously used to solve some specific problems of the hot atom chemistry of chromium. Two extracting agents are experimented methylisobutylketone (hexone) and tri-n-octylamine (TNOA). The separation by adsorption on alumina column was used as control. The proposed method applies TNOA. 5 ml 0.5M TNOA in benzene solution and 0.5 ml 2M H2SO4 are put into a separatory funnel and 1 ml of the investigated solution is added. After 30 s the phase are separated. (N.L.Gy.)
