[en] The paper discusses certain aspects of the determination of the uranium and plutonium concentrations in irradiated fuel solutions delivered to the reprocessing plant. At the present level of analytical error, the techniques available for use in safeguards include, in addition to isotope dilution, a high-precision radiometric method for determining plutonium and a differential spectrophotometric method for uranium.
