[en] Celescope observations of 550 stars made in four broad ultraviolet passbands (1500 to 2600 A) were used to verify that extinction in the ultraviolet is wavelength dependent. The results further indicate that the slope of the reddening line differs with galactic longitude in the U2 (lambdasub(e) = 2308 A) and U3 (lambdasub(e) = 1621 A) passbands. (Auth.)
