AbstractAbstract
[en] The solid solubility of nitrogen in molybdenum in equilibrium with gaseous nitrogen has been measured in the temperature range from 1300 to 20000C and at pressures from 10 to 200 atm (106 to 2 x 107 Pa). Furthermore, the pressure of formation or decomposition of the nitride Mo2N has been determined as a function of temperature over the range 900 to 15000C. By combining these results the solid solubility limit of nitrogen in molybdenum has been calculated. (U.K.)
