[en] A study of the histological alterations in the eye ball effected by repeated contact irradiation with a dose of about 10,000 R showed certain differences as compared with the usual irradiation method. A case was handled of serious tumorous disintegration of the upper eyelid. Repeated contact irradiation was carried out. In the following four years, a painful secondary glaucoma occurred and tumour relapses affecting the conjunctivas made exenteration of the orbit necessary. The eye was examined using different methods and interesting results were obtained
