AbstractAbstract
[en] Nitrophosphates having varying quantities of citrate and water soluble phosphate contents were tagged with radioactive 32P in a pot culture experiment under green house. The experiment was carried out for determining the pattern and quantity of uptake and utilization of the two different forms of phosphorus present in nitrophosphates by paddy crop (IR-8) in five soils of Bihar representing different agroclimatic zones and differing in their physico-chemical characteristics. The results show that paddy crop respond better in acid soils upto 30% water soluble phosphorus content whereas in alkaline soils higher water soluble phosphorus content has given better response.
