AbstractAbstract
[en] The use of radioactive 24Na in the form of sodium aluminosilicate for the determination of the character of material movement in rotary furnaces for the production of cement and powdered lime is described. The evaluation of the material movement is based on the determination of the movement of the front, maximum, and individual fractions of the labelled raw material and of the mean residence time.
