AbstractAbstract
[en] The invention relates to the detection of irradiation of individuals in dangerous areas. The detector comprises, as sensitive member, a mercury-iodide quadratic monocrystal, provided with two conducting sustantially parallel plane frames, on two parallel sides situated in the [001] crystalline planes; said monocrystal is a few millimeters thick and is fed with a bias-voltage of about 100 volts. It is coupled to an amplifier, followed by a means for controlling an oscillator, in its turn coupled with a loud-speaker. This can be applied to miniature hand-devices for instantaneous radiation monitoring

L'invention concerne le controle de l'irradiation d'individus en zone dangereuse. Le controleur comporte comme element sensible un monocristal quadratique d'iodure mercurique, muni de deux armatures conductrices, planes et sensiblement paralleles, sur deux faces paralleles situees dans des plans cristallins [001], de monocristal est d'une epaisseur de quelques millimetres. Polarise a environ 100 volts, il est couple a un amplificateur, suivi d'un moyen de commande d'un oscillateur lui-meme couple a un haut-parleur.
