AbstractAbstract
[en] The different methods employed in recent years for studying electron momentum densities in solids i.e., positron annihilation studies, and compton profile studies are described. The third method, quasifree electron scattering using electrons is mentioned. It is pointed out that these methods offer yet another tool to study the electronic structure and the corresponding wave functions of atomic molecular and crystalline systems. (A.K.)
