AbstractAbstract
[en] Comments on the Iizuka's diquark-antidiquark bound state model are described. The building blocks of the model are scalar diquarks made of quarks. Using the Nambu-Han argument, it is shown that the only stable two quark bound states are [3] in SU(3)''. The consequences from the naive quark-parton model are not inconsistent with the present experiment. The peculiar nature of diquark-antidiquark bound states about their SU(3) character is also emphasized. The decay patterns of the vector X tilde meson into ordinary hadrons including SU(3) singlets are significantly modified. These singular character of Iizuka's model easily resolves the conflict in the experimental results. The intermediate states in the decay of J/psi and psi prime are also discussed. (Kato, T.)
