AbstractAbstract
[en] The application of calorimetry to the accurate activity measurements of α and β emitters was investigated. The calorimeter used for the purpose was operating at the transition temperature between the normal and the superfluid states of He-4. The thermal output was close to 1μW per 50μCi (1.85x106Bq) of 241Am and the reproducibility was +-3nW. The measurements were affected by endothermic reactions. For example, in frozen acqueous solution of 241Am and also in tritiated ice and in deposits of 241AmO2 the magnitude of thermal effects are close to 16, 9 and 3% respectively. The method therefore is useful only for comparisons of samples of identical physico-chemical characteristics

On etudie les possibilites d'application de la calorimetrie aux mesures de precision sur les radionucleides emetteurs α et β. Cette etude est realisee a l'aide d'un calorimetre tres sensible fonctionnant a la temperature du passage de la phase normale a la phase superfluide de l'helium-4. Le niveau de mesure thermique est de 1 microwatt a +-3 nanowatt pres, il correspond au debit calorifique produit par 50μCi (1,85x106Bq) de 241Am. On observe des effets endothermiques importants sur la mesure d'une solution aqueuse gelee de 241Am, d'un echantillon de glace tritiee et d'un depot de 241AmO2, dont les valeurs respectives sont de 16%, 9% et 2,8%.
