[en] The report describes in detail the analytical methods that will be used for the seismic and LOCA analyses of the B and W Mark C (17 by 17) fuel assembly. The fuel assemblies are analyzed to demonstrate their capability to withstand specified seismic and LOCA excitations. Extensive test programs have been conducted in support of the analysis to establish the limit load values of various fuel assembly components. The method of analysis presented in the report will be used in determining the margins of safety of the fuel assembly under accident conditions, which will be reported in FSARs
