[en] The report presents the results of work done in a study of potential demand to the year 2020 for energy and energy products derived from high temperature gas cooled reactors (VHTR). End uses and markets for high-Btu and synthesis gas in the United States, and, with lesser detail, the Federal Republic of Germany, France and Japan were identified. Applications of steam, direct heat, and the chemical heat pipe were also considered.
