[en] The contribution comprises analysis that is based on scientific work as a part of participation on the international research project carried out at the University of Prešov in Prešov and Vienna University of Technology entitled 'Detection and Management of Risk Processes in Building Insulation' and numbered SRDA SK-AT-0008-10. Statistical approach with correlations among humidity, time and temperature values in the space between the wall and building insulation uses the set of data obtained during the measurement series as testing using a new technology with equipment that does not influence the environment properties in the space. Therefore such real mapping can bring a real picture of possible condensation as a risk process in the building envelope.
[en] The main inspiration for article was the problem of high investment into installation of the building insulation. The question of its effectiveness and reliability also after the period of 10 or 15 years was the topic of the international research project carried out at the University of Prešov in Prešov and Vienna University of Technology entitled 'Detection and Management of Risk Processes in Building Insulation' and numbered SRDA SK-AT-0008-10. To detect especially the moisture problem as risk process in the space between the wall and insulation led to construction new measuring equipment to test the moisture and temperature without the insulation destruction and this way to describe real situation in old buildings too. The further investigation allowed us to analyse the range of data in the amount of 1680 measurements and express conductive heat transfer using the methods of statistical analysis. Modelling comprises relationships of the environment properties inside the building, in the space between the wall and insulation and in ambient surrounding of the building. Radial distribution function also characterizes the connection of the temperature differences.
[en] Specific water contamination requires the recycling process prior to its discharge into the public sewerage network. Electro-flotation technology was used for cleaning of waste water contaminated with the disperse colorants. Dispersion colorants were used to decorate the boxes, made of corrugated board, in the company for the production of packaging. The objective of this paper is to present a method of optimization to determine the length of the time interval for electro-flotation process. Interval should be set so as to achieve the degree of cleaning the water that is the maximum possible in the process of electro-flotation. The measurement of the light passing through the measuring the translucent tube determines the actual degree of the water purity. The measurement is carried out by means of a photodiode in different wavelengths. The measured values in the measuring tube are compared with the nominal value, which corresponds to pure distilled water. Optimization the time interval to clean the water using electro-flotation was determined for yellow color. The optimum interval for the water contaminated with the yellow color was set to 1800s.
