AbstractAbstract
[en] Arrangement and operation of automatic multichannel recording device, which exercises acquisition preliminary processing and information output on the M-6000 computer, is described. The automatic recoding device is intented for combined operation with 6-channel X-ray radiometric FRAM-1 analyzer, which permits to determine conditional concentrations of 6 components of the analyzed specimens during one measuring cycle. The recording device contains 6 counters, it corresponds to the number of analyzed elements, timer, units of information output on numerical indication, digital recorder of the BZ-15 type and M-6000 computer. The recording device is provided with intensimeter for the analyzer general tuning and for preliminary analysis of sample composition. The re or ing device makes it possible to measure simultaneously 6 counting rates of pulse consequences and relations of these rates. The recorder can operate in one of the following four regimes: automatic measurement of 6 counting rates by a given time, automatic measurement by a given set of pulses in the sixth channel, manual measurement and recorder control. Measuring time of the recording device changes within 10-1000 s range. Counting rate of input pulses is not less than 105 pul./s, the amplitude of input pulses constitutes 2.5-4.5 V. An experimental test of the recording device operation together with FRAM-1 analyzer proved correctness of the chosen electric scheme of the recording device

AbstractAbstract
[en] A spectrum display device made as a separate unit is proposed. The device uses 18 microcircuits of the K155 and K140 series with employment of passive elements. Operation of the spectrum display device is based on the principle of displacement of the differential discriminator window. The mean counting rate is displayed by a rate meter to the Y input of the PDS-021M two-coordinate recorder. Simultaneously, a linearly-changing voltage which changes the discrimination level and provides uniform movement of the recorder carriage along the X axis is supplied to the X input from the control circuit. The spectrum display device is designed for two spectrum recording time ranges (3 and 6 min)

AbstractAbstract
[en] An automatic recorder for a two-channel X-ray radiometric analyzer is considered which makes it possible to realize 8 different measurement modes of two pulse flows and to change the measurement time and the pulse set value in wide ranges. The two-channel detection unit contains two recorders, timer, quartz generator, reversible counter, coincidence circuit, digital dynamic indication unit, as well as register and timer control circuits. The detection unit is made of integral circuits and transistors. Power consumption is not more than 15 VA, maximum pulse counting rate on both channels is not less than 1 MHz. The time range of measurement is 1-1000 s in automatic mode and 10-990 s - in manual mode. The pulse set range in measuring pulse flow ratios is 104-106

AbstractAbstract
[en] A flowsheet and two (cyclic and continuous) operating modes of the detection unit are presented. The unit is designed for using in an automatic two-channel X-ray radiometric instrument to analyze the P2O5 content in apatite concentrates. The instrument is working after a law which can be expressed through a formula N=knsub(sample)nsub(standart), where N is the number of pulses detected, nsub(sample) and nsub(standard) are counting rates from the sample to be analyzed and from the sample with known element content respectively, k - factor which is equal to the element concentration in the sample. The main instrument units are reversible counter, display for visual indication and timer. Results of the counting rate ratio measurement results are shown in digital form on the display. The instrument is made mainly on integrated circuits and can measure loadings up to 106 pulse/s

AbstractAbstract
[en] An universal device for print out of measuring results from 6-channel X-ray radiometric FRAM-1 analyzer, is described. The main units of this device are control circuit of data print out, data print out unit on the digital printer BZ-15, dynamic indication unit, unit of output on digital indicators as well as the device of data output on M-6000 computer. Data output on digital display is carried out in manual regime, and information output on the BZ-15 printer and M-6000 computer can be exercised both manually and automatically. The device of data output is assembled on the base of unified functional units, that essentially simplifies construction of output devices on different number of channels and orders. Time of information output in decimal code in manual mode on digital indicators constitutes 20-30 s while time of information output in binary decimal code in automatic mode on M-6000 computer constitutes less than 1 s

AbstractAbstract
[en] An improved method of the absorption analysis of the substance in the layer of variable thickness is suggested. The method is based on finding out the linear dependence between analysed parameters and the reverse value of the recorded radiation flows which allows to remove limitations of the configuration of radiation flows falling out on the sample. This helps to increase the efficiency of the utilization of radiation sources, the sensitivity of the analysis being constant within a wide range of the variability of measured parameters. The suggested method has been experimentally tested in the process of the roentgen-radiometric absorption analysis of the iron content in liquid samples. The experiment proves that it is possible to provide a comparatively high accuracy (relative error - 0.6 per cent) and to exclude the dependence of the sensitivity of the analysis of the range of measured iron concentrations at the low activity of the source of the 109Cd primary radiation on the account of the close geometry of measurements as a result of the absence of collomators and the high rate of the collection of the radiation raying through the cuvette

AbstractAbstract
[en] The functional diagram of a dynamic subtraction device for X-ray-radiometric equipment is presented. Derived are the theoretical expressions for the counting errors of the device depending on the magnitude of loading and the fast response of microcircuits of which it consists. The counting errors which determine the error of the dynamic subtraction device are reduced to the counting errors of the preliminary subtraction performed by a trigger circuit. It is demonstrated that the error of the system increases with the increase of loading. It is assumed that the application of the dynamic subtraction device in X-ray-radiometric equipment for continuous processing of statistical information will essentially decrease the measurement time and simplify the construction of X-ray-radiometric devices
