[en] The purpose of the paper is to determine the range of consumers, for whom it is advisable to be supplied with electric power from low power NPPs. Evaluations of the total electric power and heat demand were made for settlements with population of 20 and 50 thousands. The analysis of obtained results showed, that single-unit thermal power of low-power reactor should be limited by 500 MW. Electric power of the unit during operation under heat supply conditions will be equal to 100-130 MW and under condensation conditions - 150-170 MW. Thus, the upper power limit for independent four-unit low-power NPP (with one reserve power unit) is established on the level of 2000 MW
