[en] These specifications aim at describing the typical process and content of an assessment study of unavoidable heat potentials which are available within a specific territory, thus allowing deeper and more targeted studies to be performed for the implementation of unavoidable heat recovery projects. This concerns any effluent type, whatever its type (gas, liquid) and origin (industry, waste incineration plants, energetic valorisation units, data-centres, and so on) are. Four main phases are identified and discussed: inventory of unavoidable heat sources, assessment of the local valorisation potential, proposition of a strategy of actions, and study communication.
[en] This publication presents a strategic road-map which has been elaborated by a group of experts, and which aims at addressing the management of the various energy vectors (heat and cold, gas, hydrogen, electric power, fuels) and of their networks in order to comply with present and future energy, social, environmental and economic needs. It first addresses modalities of regulation of these integrated energy systems from as well technical as organisational or economic points of view. Four dimensions are then distinguished: territories and territorial scales, regulation and corresponding levers of action, all concerned actors, and usages. Different cases have been analysed, corresponding to the different scales of interest: national or even European, regional, inter-communal, and eco-district. Four prospective visions by 2050 are defined, and deadlocks and challenges are identified and discussed, globally and for each prospective vision. A synthetic version of this report is provided
