AbstractAbstract
[en] Laplace transform method is applied to investigate the effect of the choice of amplifier parameter on identification of the light charged particles emitted from 12C(46.7 MeV/u) + 58Ni reaction. The significance of application of Laplace transformation method in heavy ion experimental nuclear physics is discussed as well

AbstractAbstract
[en] A silicon microstrip detector has been fabricated by the new method of planar process. A high-ohmic (∼ 3 kΩcm) n-doped silicon crystal, oriented in the 1,1,1-direction is used as base material. The sensitive area of detector is a rectangle of 18 mm x 12 mm, 300 strips of 20 μm width, 20 μm pitch and 400 μm thickness. The leakage current is 5 x 10 ma at the reverse bias voltage of 100 v. The distribution of charge collections of the silicon microstrip detector was measured and 5.3 μm of the spatial resolution was obtained

AbstractAbstract
[en] This author introduces the result of a years approach on optimum design of low power high voltage generator that is preferred to use as an unit within the stable high voltage supplier to bias photomultipliers. The optimization is upon the comparison of the spike disturbing interference generating, limit of power transferred, transformer fabrication art, simplicity and key components supply between push-pull bi-direction drive and switch drive DC/DC converter type high voltage generator. Also a practice design under this policy is given as a sample. This approach is valuable as it would benefit the instrumentation widely

AbstractAbstract
[en] A computer control system is described which is used for the lithography beamline of synchrotron radiation facility. The software is modular, extensible and transplantable. The software system has chain-lock control function, may given warning information while incorrect operation or accident occurs. The run record file records all operations and the states when the accident is happen, so the checking and maintaining of the hardware of the beamline are more convenient. The software system has graphic and menu prompting, it is convenient and flexible for use. The main programming modules are written in C language, part modules are written in assembly language, so the system response time is very short

AbstractAbstract
[en] The effective neutron detection threshold of scintillation detector is determined by means of fission neutrons from a thin 252Cf source. A method is described which uses monoenergetic photon sources for calibrating electron energy of the detector. The position of the Compton edge has been precisely determined by comparing the measured pulse height spectrum with a Monte Carlo simulated distribution properly folded with the pulse height dependent resolution. As a result, the effective neutron threshold and relative electron response for ST451 detector in the neutron energy range up to about 7.0 MeV is given
