AbstractAbstract
[en] A new nanocell with smoothly varying longitudinal thickness of the atomic vapor layer L in the range of 350/5100 nm allowing to study the resonant absorption of D1 line of Cs atoms for thicknesses changing from L ≡λ/2 to L=5λ with the step of λ/2 (λ=894 nm is resonant laser wavelength) and for different intensities is developed. It is shown that for low laser intensities there is narrowing of the resonant absorption spectrum for the thickness from L=(2n+1)λ/2 (where n is an integer) up to L=7λ/2 and broadening of the spectrum for L=nλ. The developed theoretical model describes well the experiment

AbstractAbstract
[en] The dynamics of charged particles is investigated by means of numerical integration of the classical relativistic equations of motion in the field of a transverse electromagnetic wave of finite duration and the certain form of the envelope function of the field in the refractive medium with a constant refraction index (n>1). The possibility of acceleration of charged particles by actual laser pulses in the gaseous medium corresponding to the nonlinear induced Cherenkov effect of 'reflection' and capture of the charged particle by a transverse electromagnetic wave is considered

AbstractAbstract
[en] On the basis of new experimental results and analysis of publications it is shown that in the lattice of corundum crystals the high-energy particles create stable structural defects due to knocking out of atoms from normal sites of the anionic sublattice; this leads to the formation of F and F '+ centers as well as to other complex [Ali '+ F] type color centers. The essence of 'radiation memory' effect in corundum single crystals is that the high-energy particles irradiation, annealing at high temperatures and additional irradiation by X-rays result in the restoration of some spectral bands of the optical absorption in the range 200-650 nm

AbstractAbstract
[en] A relationship between beam original and difference orbits in linear accelerators is considered. A new integral equation for the beam orbit is derived and a recurrent analytical solution is given, which allows evaluating the original trajectory when the information about the difference orbit is known. Numerical results for the undulator section of the European XFEL (X-ray Free Electron Laser) project are presented

AbstractAbstract
[en] Motion of a Frenkel-Kontorova dislocation in aluminum monocrystals at low temperatures is studied. Comparative mathematical modeling of dislocations motion in a Peierls potential relief and without it is performed by using the sine-Gordon equation. It is shown that in a Peierls relief dislocations transitions are of the quantum tunneling type. Quantitative estimate of the possibility of such effect is made

AbstractAbstract
[en] The spectral distribution of spontaneous emission of electrons moving in plane wiggler (undulator) with inhomogeneous magnetic field and the gain are calculated. It is shown, that electrons perform the complicated motion consisting of slow (strophotron) and fast (undulator) parts. The equations of motion were averaged over fast undulator part and equations for connected motion are obtained. It is shown, that the effect of the magnetic field inhomogeneity leads to the appearance of additional peaks in the spectral distribution of spontaneous radiation and in the gain
