AbstractAbstract
[en] It is shown that very intensive gravitational fields (as those in the black-hole proximity) give rise the other interactions of the nature, taking advantage of the gravitational energy and due to the manifestation of suitable symmetries.(Author)

[en] It is presented a brief description of the investigations Technology. Considering the potentiality of the country, to export non traditional and exotic fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, and ornamental fresh cut flowers, studies ares initiated to use ionizing radiation as quarantine treatments. This paper reports the initial data obtained with two species of fruit fly of high incidence in the fruit producer zones of Ecuador, whose stable and permanent microclimates allow to produce a sort of fruits along all year

[en] Mass attenuation coefficients for secondary electrons (electrons generated by photon interactions) are estimated by using a simple simulation program. The coefficients show a strong dependence on the attenuator composition. When the electrons are generated via Compton interactions, the mass attenuation coefficients are almost independent of the medium where they were created. These values are used in the photon cavity theory. (Author)

[en] In this paper we develop and illustrate the way to obtain the relative intensities of the Moessbauer-spectrum. The calculations were made in multipolarity D1 for several spin resonances. Beside we explain the importance on the deep of the Moessbauer-spectrum resonance lines. (Author)

[en] This paper reviews Higgs production and decays at LEP energies (√S≅Mz) for light Higg bosons (MH< Mz) in the frame of the Minimal Standard Model. The Higgs production process e+e-→Z→Hoγ is also studied, and compared with the reactions e+e-→Z→Ho(μ+μ-,e+e-), and the inclusive process e+e-→Z→HoX. Additionally, the Standard Model prediction for σ(e+e-→Ho+hadrons)xBr(Ho→γγ) is compared with the experimental upper limit given by the L3 experiment at LEP. (Author)

[en] In this work we have developed a technical and economical study for the stablishment of a industrial gamma irradiation facility in Ecuador. This facility would have a multiple use, it could be used in two principal fields: sterilization of disposable medical supplies and food preservation. The technical study is related with the desing of the irradiator source and the calculation of shielding walls and the selection of same important equipments. The economical study foresees a useful life of ten years in ral values and actual values related to the year of installation wich is considered the initial year

[en] This project has been carried out to study the devitalization of pork meat cysticerci, using ionizing radiation with doses in the order of 5 KGy, a Co-60 source of 8000 Ci, beloging to Nuclear Science Institute, E.P.N., was use for irradiations. To make the vitality test the cysticerci were prepared by carefully removing the connective tissue of the cysts and then placing them in an isotonic bile solution. Combined treatments were studied in order to reduce requirement of radiation. Organoleptic tests showerd no significant difference al p=0.05 between the treated and untreated samples

[en] In this paper we estimate the branching ratio B(H+→γ+νγ) and the ratios of partial widths: Γ(H+→cs)/Γ(H+→τ+ντ), Γ(t→H+b)/Γ(t→W+b) in the two-doublet Higgs model. Additionally, the charged Higgs production process e+e- →Z→H+H- is also studied in the vicinity of the √S=MZ resonance(Author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] This work aims to define the position of two of Ecuador granitic deposits within the field of the geochemistry of granites in general and of the geochemistry of uranium in particular. The regions concerned are: The Bonita and ABITAGUA. For each range the petrochemical framework is first of all determined and then the degree of chemical homogeneity of rocks is evaluated. In the petrochemical groups thus obtained the geochemical behaviour of the uranium is studied. From the viewpoint of the geochemistry of the granites under investigation, a comparison of the laws of distribution of the mayor elements in two ranges shows up a covergence of average composition which was not anticipated by geological and petrografic considerations alone. The statistical and geochemical distribution laws of the total uranium as a function of petrochemical variations are established. A study of chemical forms of uranium in the rocks has drawn an attention to the qualitative and quantitative importance of the faction of uranium soluble in delute acids. We have therefore reconsidered on the one hand, the laws of distribution of the insoluble and we have justified on the other hand the interest presented by the soluble post magmatic phenomena which makes possible to find a genetic connection between the uraniferous deposits and the intrusive massifs. Finally we have given tables of analytic composition total of the granites. (Author)
