AbstractAbstract
[en] To meet the need of highly reliable of reactor nuclear measuring equipment, in allusion to the idiographic request of nuclear measuring equipment, the actual technical development and the application in industrial field, we design a kind of redundancy communication net based on PROFIBUS, and a kind of communication interface module based on redundancy PROFIBUS communication, which link the nuclear measuring equipment and PROFIBUS communication net, and also lay a foundation for advanced research. [en] A code based on the protocols of Telnet and FTP is developed with C++ for coupling computing between WIMS-AECL and RFSP-IST. the input document of WIMS-AECL and RFSP-ISP cna be generated automatically and be submitted to server, the output document will be downloaded by the end of computing. the function of analyzing standard output document is also included in this code. After simple updating, this code can meet the requirement of other code using input document, e.g. CATHENA. A pilot study of the relation between void fraction and reactivity in TACR, some valuable conclusions has been achieved. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Two methods are widely used to calculate the α eigenvalue for the moment. The first one is to search a α value satisfying the condition that k(α) is equal to 1, which is introduced to neutron transport equation in advance. It is frequently invalidated in subcriticality because that cross section is less than 0. The second one is called dynamic fit method. Neutron density with time N(t) is calculated by MCNP program before-hand, and then α value is fitted according to its definition α=dN/(Ndt). Some experience or repetitions are required to estimate the truncation time of neutron density and select the time interval during which α value is fitted. the answer can be badly affected by the unapt selection of time interval. This paper gives a means to solve the problem by the prompt neutron lifetime (τ). fitting α value between 30 τ and 50 τ is recommended in this paper. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Up to now, more than 80 spacecrafts with nuclear power systems including radioisotope power and reactor power are launched by USA and Russia. This paper retrospects to the developing history and usage status of radioisotope thermoelectric generator (RTG) used in space in the 20th century. The technical level of RTG and the recent trends of raising the efficiency of thermo-electric conversion are summarized. The space and solar system exploration programs with RTG for USA, Russia nad ESA early in the 21st century (2001/2015) are generally described. It shows that the wide prospect of RTG's application. AbstractAbstract
[en] The economic performance of Fusion Power plant with dual-cooled lithium lead blanket (FDS-II power plant) has been discussed. At first, the costs of the FDS-II power plant have been calculated with using the hypothetic blanket material unit cost. Then, the economics characteristics of FDS-II power plant have been estimated with respect to the engineering parameters and uncertainty factor of blanket material unit cost. The results have been provided as a reference for further improving design of FDS-II. (authors)

Since uranium bearing coal can generate electricity, provide heat and recover uranium during the process of hydrometallurgy, it is necessary to mine these deposits. This paper summarizes the experiences in uranium bearing coal deposit mining, suggests research topics in this area. AbstractAbstract
[en] Through the data of impulsive load experiment on this fuel assembly, this paper obtained how the impact force and impact acceleration changed with time and other parameters, and analyzed the causation of the different impact force and impact acceleration, further more, found the disciplinarian of impulsive load. Investigation showed: the fuel assembly of electromagnetic movable coil control rod drive mechanism is firm enough to suffer from the impulsive load, so it suits using in the reactor. (authors)

[en] The principle idea for the monitoring system is based on the time is different when radiation nuclei 16N and 19O travel the different distances from reactor center via hot, bend and cold point of U-tube in steam generator. Because of the decay time T1/2 for 16N and 19O are different, the ratios of 16N and 19O activities are different too. By using the different ratio, the authors can obtain the leak location of U-tube. The radioactivities and their ratio of 16N to 19O in our swimming pool reactor were measurement by use the monitoring system, the measured results show its quality is reliable. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] A primary design of a batch hydrogen isotope separation system based on Palladium Membrane Separators Connected in Series (PMSCS) was presented. Mathematic models for the separation effect evaluation of this kind of system have been put forward. Relationships between the deuterium concentrations in product and extraction rate are given using this model for the separation systems with different stages. Calculation results based on the model and separation factors measured in our previous work show that the more the number of the stages of the system, the better the separation effect. A product with deuterium concentration of 92% and a raffinate with protium concentration of 99.95% can be obtained respectively by using a five stages separation system if the system is feed with of 50%H-50%D mixture. This kind of hydrogen isotope separation system has advantages such as lower tritium inventory, more compacted structure and smaller room occupancy compared with TCAP. The PMSC is attractive for hydrogen isotope separation with a batch operation mode. (authors)

AbstractAbstract
[en] Nuclear safety is the most critical target for nuclear power plant operation. Besides the rigid operation procedures established, evaluation of suppliers working with plants can be another important aspects. Selection and evaluation of suppliers can be classified with qualitative analysis and quantitative management. The indicators involved are coupled with each other in a very complicated manner, therefore the relevant data show the strong characteristic of non-linearity. The article is based on the research and analysis of the real conditions of the Daya Bay nuclear power plant operation management. Through study and analysis of the information home and abroad, and with reference to the neural network ensemble technology, the supplier evaluation system and model are established as illustrated within the paper, thus to heighten objectivity of the supplier selection.
