These French environmental associations emphasize the following points: the government does not give a clear direction towards the car place reduction, in particular and road transport more generally. These file are grouped into 5 main chapters dealing with: 1 - key data: energy metering and units, end-consumption, primary energy and end-use energy, electric power status and contribution of the different energy sources, energy dependence; 2 - prospects: world energy projections, French energy projections, new power plant needs in France, hydrogen as tomorrows energy vector, fuel cells; 3 - energy mastery: in the residential and tertiary sectors, in transports, mastery of power demand, thermal renewable energies and fuels, renewable electric power: status and perspectives; 4 - nuclear energy: economical prospects of nuclear energy, fuel reprocessing and MOX fuels, the European pressurized reactor (EPR); 5 - greenhouse effect: Kyoto protocol, primary electric power and world greenhouse effect, fossil fuels and greenhouse effect, CO₂ emissions of the French energy system.
