[en] The paper present the review of design documentation for Nuclear Power Plant Krsko. In Yugoslavia this procedure is called ''nostrification'' and is based on our legal requirements for onstruction of plants after the design documentation of foreign origine. Besides relevant legal requirements, detailed description of criteria followed during reviews is given. The organization sheme for the described procedure is also presented
[en] Pressurizer mathematical model for the Basic Principle Training Simulator is described. Mathematical model uses two continuity equations and energy conservation equation. For calculation of fluid mass flow drift-flux model is used. Pressurizer model with pressurizer level and pressurizer pressure control system is tested with simulation of the change surge line flow. [en] In the year 2006 there were no major problems in the area of protection against ionizing radiation and nuclear safety in Slovenia. There were no events that would present a radiological threat to the population. This report contains the essential data on the status in the areas of radiation protection and nuclear safety in the country, and is aimed at a wider group of interested public. At the same time an extended version is prepared consisting of all details and data which would be of interest to a narrower group of professionals. It is available in electronic form on CD-ROM and on the homepage of the SNSA.

[en] A package of data describing the nuclear properties of reactor is necessary for normal reactor operation. For the needs of NPP Krsko we developed a set of computer programs. which are able to calculate all the necessary nuclear operation parameters of the reactor, such as: control rods worths, reactivity coefficients, xenon and samarium worths, etc. Xenon and samarium worth for normal operating conditions and after shut-down are treated in this report.(author)
[en] In the introduction a brief description of some activities of fluorine chemistry department at the J. Stefan Institute is given - from production of elemental fluorine to the investigations in the field of uranium technology. Furthermore, a new method for the production of uranium hexafluoride is described more in detail. The method is based on the fluorination of uranium tetrafluoride with elemental fluorine. (author)
[en] The analysis of the natural circulation is one of the first analysis that was done at IJS with the computer code RELAP 5/MOS 1/CY 018. Specific model of the system was made for the natural circulation. The first 400 s of the transient were analyzed. At that time pumps are rotating only by coolant flow. First results show quite realistic picture of the transient although some changes should be made, especially on the steam generator model due to the unrealistic oscillations of the coolant flow on the secondary side.
