AbstractAbstract
[en] The tensor analyzing power T20 for the p (d,p) d and p (d,p) pn reactions at 0 deg (θcmp = 180 deg) have been measured at incident momenta from 3.5 to 6.5 GeV/c. For both reactions T20 remains negative up to 6.5 GeV/c (that corresponds to the internal momentum k≅0.85 GeV/c, defined in the light front system). This situation completely contradicts the standard one nucleon exchange model prediction. A new structure in the dependence of T20 on k≅0.65 GeV/c is observed .The first measured values of T20 for deuteron breakup without pion production differ at the same k both from data on T20 for the backward elastic scattering and from data on T20 for deuteron breakup in the region where pion production is allowed. An evidence has been obtained on a 'quasiresonance' enhancement of differential cross section close to the kinematical limit of the p(d,p)pn reaction. New data on T20 for the p(d,d') X reaction in the region of MX from 1.46 to 1.62 GeV/c2 have been obtained simultaneously. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] An experiment on the studying of the tensor analyzing power Ayy in the reaction A(d polarized, p)X at large transverse momenta of proton using a polarized deuteron beam of LHE accelerator complex has been proposed. These measurements could provide the valuable information on the spin structure of the deuteron at short distances. The estimation of the beam request for SPHERE set-up is performed

AbstractAbstract
[en] The inclusive spectra of π- -mesons in dC-interactions are measured at 1 GeV per nucleon. The data are compared with the ''counting rule'' predictions for the deuteron and carbon fragmentation and with the recently observed features of the central pion production in the multinucleon nucleus-nucleus collisions

AbstractAbstract
[en] In this work experimental data on πC-interactions at Pπ = 40GeV/c, pC- ,dC-, 4HeC- and 12CC- interactions at 4.2 AGeV/c were used. The experimental sample was divided into event groups with proton number Q: Q≥1; 2; 3; ... For each group invariant inclusive spectra were built for pions and protons in dependence on their kinetic energy. These spectra were approximated by exponential terms and behavior of approximation parameters in dependence on Q was studied. It was supposed that at some Q takes place the origination and fast expansion of some metastable state - extrema state of nuclear matter.(A.A.D.)

AbstractAbstract
[en] There is a new program of evaluation and dissemination of nuclear data of critical importance for nuclear astrophysics within the Physics Division of Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Recent activities include determining the rates of the important 14O(α,p)17 F and 17F(p,γ) 18Ne reactions, disseminating the Caughlan and Fowler reaction rate compilation on the World Wide Web, and evaluating the 17O(p,α)14N reaction rate. These projects, which are closely coupled to current ORNL nuclear astrophysics research, are briefly discussed along with future plans

AbstractAbstract
[en] After years of energies devoted to the Δ(1232) resonance, the Roper N*(1440) is revealing itself as an important ingredient in the understanding of many processes at intermediate energy. In this note we report upon the isoscalar excitation of the Roper (α,α) collisions on the proton. The analysis of the experiment allows to extract the strength of the isoscalar N N → N N* transition. AbstractAbstract
[en] The subthreshold production of neutral pions was studied in the reactions 24Mg(α,π0)X at 43 MeV .A and 24Mg(16O,π0)X at 24 and 33 MeV .A. The energies and emission angles of the two coincident photons from the π0-decay were measured with a lead glass shower detector. The cross sections of 3.5 and 6.6 nb from the 16O-induced reactions are compatible with other experiments in this energy region. For the α-induced reaction a production cross section of 1.3 nb was found. Here, only 22 MeV above the absolute threshold, the pion emission from an excited Δ-nucleon hole state is strongly suppressed. The differential cross sections at very backward angles are by an order of magnitude bigger than the yields at 90 pointing to a strong absorption of the produced pions by the larger target nucleus. AbstractAbstract
[en] In order to study the effect of the dispersion relation between the real and imaginary parts of the optical potential in scattering 3He by nuclei with 40 < A1 < 124 at low and medium energies, an optical-model analysis of the data on σel(θ) is performed. The energy dependences of the volume integrals of the real and imaginary parts of the optical potential, corresponding to a discrete family which is universal for low and high energies, are found. The level of agreement between the results and the empirical parametrizations of the optical potential is shown. Dispersion relations lead to different threshold-anomaly effects in scattering of 3He and 4He. The influence of various factors on the energy dependence of the real volume integral is discussed. 28 refs., 6 figs., 2 tabs
