[en] The Kara-Zhira coal deposit is situated in district where a nuclear explosions were tested. A total volume of coal store is composing 1,3·109 t by the estimation of experts. Radiological monitoring of the deposit district (420 sq.km) was carried out. There were 45 military wells located closely from coal deposit boundary. Exposure dose rate (EDR) is equal to 13-15 m R/h. The EDR into well mouth is 200-840 μR/h. The maximum value equal 8000 m R/h is noted in the 1080 adit district. The rocks with surface radionuclides content is to being carried out its selective hollow and following storage. This work allows reach coal mine with volume 2,5 million tons per year

AbstractAbstract
[en] The method with use the ceramic material thermoluminescence was developed for definition of radiation contamination consequences on population after the lapse of protracted time intervals. It was noted that the 'pre-dose' method of quartz thermal illumination within low-temperature range (100 deg C) is more sensitive modification of this method. The method is based on a linear dependence from accumulated dose Dirr of light yield S of low temperature luminescence after quartz sample thermo activation under high temperatures irradiated by low 'test' dose - Dt: S=Dt · (Ko+K · Dirr). Doses which accumulated in the samples of red brick were measured with help of this technique in populated points of Altaj region and the Republic of Altaj

[en] The aim of work is study of immune system of the brucellosis sicks protracted living in the district of Semipalatinsk test site. The 303 sicks with acute (81), subacute (107) and chronic (115) brucellosis have been examined. By complex immune investigation the expressed changes of indexes of sell section of immunity of the sicks living in the different zones of radiation risk were fixed. The strongly expressed quantitative deficit of T-lymphocytes, T-suppressors has been observed of personnel, living in the zone of high radiation risk

[en] The purpose of this investigation is study of peculiarities of clinics, course and immune reactivity of tuberculosis sicks of respiratory system living in the Semipalatinsk region. This district is zone of the extraordinary and maximum radiation risk. The comparative analysis of clinical observation for 270 sicks shows clinical structure of tuberculosis forms. The received results testified about expressed reducing of organism reactivity of tuberculosis sicks from site zone

AbstractAbstract
[en] The dynamics of oncological sick rate among Semipalatinsk region population is analyzed. There where two groups (control and principle) of irradiated personnel for the period from 1956 to 1994 . In the each of croup there were about 10000 men. The principle group have got different doses of both the internal and external irradiation because of the nuclear tests on Semipalatinsk test site. The equivalent weighted mean dose in principle group is 200 c rem, and in the control one - 7 c rem. The yearly tempo of oncological sick rate in principle group exceeds control one to 5,6 times during of the first peak. The higher susceptibility has been marked for tumors of the gastrointestinal tract (cancer of esophagus, stomach, liver). Among of other localization the higher susceptibility are a cancer of lung, mammary and thyroid glands

AbstractAbstract
[en] Study of statistical data for the period from 1950 to 1994 is showed that averaged index of mortality of Semipalatinsk region population is equal to 836 dead per 100000 of population. By post-mortem examination data the highest specific weight have been made up: cardiovascular diseases (29 %), tumors (18 %), infections (16 %), diseases of digestion organs (13%), diseases of respiratory system (10 %). In structure of child mortality the 1/3 of death rate over this period fallen at a child diseases and tumors. However, in last years this index appreciable has been fallen because of the child mortality increasing. The dynamics of child mortality over 45-years period in total by region had following regularities: in 1950-1954 - 1054 -dead per 100000 inhabitants; in 1960-1964 - 669,8; 1970-1974 - 679,2; 1980-1984 -853,8; 1990-1994 -908,7. The analysis of mortality indexes by the districts and years are given

[en] The assessment for radioecological situation of the Semipalatinsk region is given. Authors noted that a situation has been remained very tense. There is desperate extremity of the Semipalatinsk test site's radioactive contaminations total and detail investigate. The rate of exposure dose in Semipalatinsk city is 12-14 μR/h and in its region 15-17 μR/h
