AbstractAbstract
[en] Experimental data are analysed concerning the influence of specific interaction of the solvent (water, acetonitrile (AN), dimethyl sulphoxide (DMSO) with the electrode (eutectic alloy of indium with gallium) on the adsorption (I-, Br-)). Specific interaction of solvents with the electrode increases in the sequence AN< H2O< DMSO. Stronger interaction of the alloy with DMSO diminishes the adsorption of various substances from DMSO. In AN, because of weakening of the specific interaction and diminishing of the solvation energy of the anions, the adsorption of I- anions increases as one goes from H2O over to AN. On the In-Ga alloys the value Δpsisub(Q=0)sup(Isup(-))=0.44 V. Thus, specific interaction of the solvent with the metal is accompanied by changes in the differential capacity of the binary electric layer, in the zero charge potential and in the adsorption properties of the electrode

AbstractAbstract
[en] Using the method of NMR19F, the solvolytic reactions are studied of tungsten hexafluoride with urea, thiourea, and guanidine. The reactions of WF6 with (NH2)2CO, (NH2)2CS, and (NH2)2CNHxHCl in acetonitrile result in the formation of anion [WF5N(NH2)CO]-, [WF5N(NH2)CS]- and molecular WF5NC(NH2)2 complexes containing the multiple bond W=NR. The compounds [NH3NH2CO][WF5N(NH2)CO] and WF5NC(NH2)2 are isolated in the solid form. On the basis of the dependence of the chemical shifts of the equatorial atoms of fluorine in related hexacoordination complexes of tungsten on the π-donor properties of short-bond nitrogen-containing ligands, a series of ligands is proposed in the order of decrease of their π-donor properties

AbstractAbstract
[en] Phase equilibrium in the systems WCl5-WCl6 and WCl5-WOCl4 have been studied by differential thermal and X-ray phase analyses. The components form the fusibility diagrams of the eutectic type. Eutectics melt at 190+-2 deg C and 200+-2 deg C; they contain 82 and 60 mol.% of WCl5, respectively. Oxotetrachloride and dioxodichloride of tungsten are formed in the system WCl6-WO3; no other phases are observed in the system. In the system WO2-WO2Cl2 the interaction of the components has not been observed up to 300 deg C. In the ternary system WCl5-WOCl4-WCl6 the ternary eutectics melt at 180+-3 deg C and contain 60 mol.% of WCl5, 22 mol.% of WOCl4, and 18 mol.% of WCl6
