AbstractAbstract
[en] Preliminary study on the feasibility of actinides minor (MA) recycling without mixing them with plutonium in boiling water reactor (BWR) has been carried out. The results show that increasing of fissile MA content in mixed oxide fuel (MOX) and/or reducing void fraction can enlarge the effective multiplication factor at the beginning of cycle, but the reactor still can not obtain its criticality condition. Furthermore, dropping the void fraction results in higher reactivity swing and therefore plummeting the safety factor of the reactor. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] We discuss the effect of kinetic energy of the relative motion becoming spurious for separate fragments on the selfconsistent mean-field fission barriers. The treatment of the relative motion in the cluster model is contrasted with the necessity of a simpler and approximate approach in the mean-field theory. A scheme of the energy correction to the Hartree-Fock is proposed. The results obtained with the effective Skyrme interaction SLy6 show that the correction, previously estimated as ~ 8 MeV in A = 70 - 100 nuclei, amounts to 4 MeV in the medium heavy nucleus 198Hg and to null in 238U. However, the corrected barrier implies a shorter fission half-life of the latter nucleus. The same effect is expected to lower barriers for multipartition (i.e. ternary fission, etc) and make hyperdeformed minima less stable. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] The shell correction to the potential energy of heaviest nuclei is studied in a multidimensional deformation space. The correction is calculated at the saddle point of the nuclei and compared with that obtained at the equilibrium (ground state) point. Although generally much smaller than at the equilibrium point, the correction at the saddle point is still found to be large and significant. The analysis is performed within a macroscopic-microscopic approach. (author)

AbstractAbstract
[en] According to SDSS DR5 spectra the spectrophotometric investigations of seven RH regions of six Kazarian galaxies are conducted. The abundances of heavy elements and helium and also quantity of ionizing stars and star formation rate are determined. The oxygen abundance 12+log(O/H) lies in the range 7.94 : 8.35. The mean log(S/O), log(Ar/O) and log(Ne/O) abundance ratios are equal to: -1.63, -2.37 and -0.78, respectively. The log(N/O) abundance ratio of investigated HII regions is in the interval -0.63 : -1.37. They occupy the same area in the diagram N/O - O/H as the high-excitation HII regions. Most likely, the ages of investigated HII regions are larger than 100-300 Myr, required for the enrichment in nitrogen by intermediate-mass stars. The star formation rate is one order as in HII regions in spiral and irregular galaxies, and is in the interval 0.05 : 0.81M year-1

[en] A small area of the Perseus dark cloud around LkHa 326 emission line star is studied in the optical range. Two new cometary nebulae are described and their connection with previously found HH objects is discussed. A small HH-jet is discovered near the central star of the one of these nebulae. Six emission-line stars including four new ones are found in this area by means of slitless spectroscopy

[en] We consider gravitational radiation of the millisecond pulsars due to glitches of the angular velocity. It is supposed that the energy transferred from internal superfluid parts to a core of a neutron star will be transformed to energy of gravitational waves by means of damping oscillations of the neutron star matter. Intensity of gravitational radiation and amplitude of waves for 14 millisecond pulsars are calculated. The value of a magnetic field at which the offered mechanism will give the main contribution to spin-down rate of these pulsars is estimated

[en] This paper describes the result of piping stress analysis for wellhead piping. The purpose of this piping stress analysis is to anticipate any over stress on the preliminary piping is a part of the flow line system and study the requirements of expansion loop on the piping. Pipe model starts at the wellhead as a fixed point and ends on the first guide at the corridor. Distance from wellhead to corridor is taken 100 m. Support type applied along corridor are rest support, guide support and guide support with U-bolt. Result of analysis indicate that stress that happened at wellhead is safe. (author)
