Description
At the Center for Promotion of Computational Science and Engineering (CCSE), Kansai Research Establishment Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute (JAERI), the Super Simulation Center (SSC) utilizes the fastest computers in Japan and high performance graphic servers attached to high speed networks. We, Information Systems Operating Division, provide and administer the most advanced computational resources, including massive parallel supercomputer Compaq SC40 (1.5TFlops), vector parallel supercomputer Fujitsu VPP300, visualization saver SGI Onyx 3200 with fiber optical network services and mailing facilities are contributing for the advanced photon research purpose.
