On the adequacy of the structural model of elasto-visco-plastic medium under variable repeated non-isothermal loading

  • 1. Chelyabinskij Politekhnicheskij Inst. (USSR)

Description

In a previous paper (see SMiRT-3 Transactions, Paper L5/7) a version of the mathematical ('structural') model of elasto-visco-plastic medium has been developed. According to it the infinitely small element of body operates as an assemblage of a number of subelements having equal total strains and temperature but different values of the rheological function parameters (similarity coefficients). The convenience of this model for engineering application has been shown. Some work has been done to verify the adequacy of the model under different operating conditions. This paper concerns some results of theoretical and experimental investigations at proportional variable repeated non-isothermal loading. (Auth.)

Part of:
A mathematical model of medium for analysing the inelastic deforming of structures subjected to repeated actions of load and temperature
