A mathematical model of medium for analysing the inelastic deforming of structures subjected to repeated actions of load and temperature

  • 1. Chelyabinskij Politekhnicheskij Inst. (USSR)

Description

In the paper a version of a mathematical ('structural') model of elasto-plastic creeping medium, and its application for describing the mechanical behaviour of structures subjected to alternating forces and temperature fields is considered. The adequate analysis at such operating conditions requires constitutive equations which can reflect such peculiarities of structural alloy behaviour as anisotropic hardening, unsteady creep, interaction between plasticity and creep, and other 'second-order' effects. It is rather difficult to derive the required equations using the homogeneous solid approach. In this respect the structural models (based on the general idea of Masing scheme) provide greater possibilities. (Auth.)
