Numerical analysis of the profiled explosion-induced D-T compression for obtaining critical fusion parameter. Part 2. Spherical system

Description

A complete numericasl analysis is performed of the D-T compression induced by the explosion profiled by means of lightweigth interface layer. Compressions and temperatures have been achieved approximating the critical parameters of the thermonuclear fusion. The maximum K is 340, and the pressure at the centre - over 1016 dynes/cm2. A close dependence is demonstrated of the compressions and temperatures obtained upon the ratio of D-T density to the density of the interface layer. (author)
